i'm a forty year old man.
the "rock star" dream was over in my twenties.
unlike you, i have a constructive hobby that i enjoy
sharing with people. some like my music, some don't.
i'm sure you can understand people not liking your art.
it must be something you're quite familiar with.
maybe one day, you'll have the nerve to share your art.

i have enought to count on one hand, that doesn't include
family, which don't count as "friends."
that's all in want or need. they're loyal and are there
for me when times get tough- no other time.
that's the way i like it at the deeper levels.
at the surface, we all want to be adored and appreciated for
our good works in life.
which leads me to wonder what the . your purpose is as you
go around with the mentality of a bratty ager talking your smack and
