Thanks for the comments, some of the few here that actually veer
towards actual critique, Gill. These tracks on Gene Woolfolk's "fan"
site are unofficial, still unmixed versions... the studio we recorded
them at went under recently in the current economic crash (not the
only one around here, Bill Heard, the famous Chevy dealer, "Mr. Big
Volume", closed his doors yesterday. He was so "big" that the closing
made national news on Fox, CNN et cetera) and is currently setting up
his gear in his wife's basement out in the country. A delay in the CD
release, but worth it since it looks like the ambiance out there in
Harris County has that spooky "Southern Gothic" feel which will no
doubt soak into the feel of the next sessions.
